Three Kurnool men held in murder case

Cops on Wednesday arrested three persons accused in the murder of Mirza Mohammed Ali Baig (35) on Mar 16, in Rajendranagar police station limits. Police also seized lethal weapons from them.

“The accused confessed to their crime. They killed Mirza following arguments over financial issues,” inspector S Jayaram said. Meer Sadeq, Mirza’s relative lodged a police complaint stating that he received a call from his neice Sameena about a quarrel that transpired between unknown persons and her brother, Mirza.

He later received another call stating that the unknown persons had killed Mirza after the argument by smashing his head with a boulder at A.G.College complex.
