A 35-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Chilkur here Friday. Siripurapu Saritha’s husband, Anjaneyulu, had died recently.
Police suspect that she was murdered by a known person. She was also sexually assaulted before being killed. Police said the accused gained entry into her room at 12.30 pm on Friday. “She was reportedly sleeping and there were as many four stabbing injuries on her body,” said Moinabad sub inspector Saidulu.
