SBH donates vehicle to MS Reddy Lions Eye Hospital

The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), MSME Moulali branch has donated a TATA Ventura EX eight seater Van to MS Reddy Lions Eye Hospital, Meerpet, Moulali as a part of its community services banking activity.

The vehicle, that costs Rs.5.60 lakh,  was donated to facilitate the hospital to conduct camps and transport patients from nearby villages of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medak and Nalgonda districts to the hospital for free eye check-up, treatment and conducting cataract and glaucoma surgeries.

On an average, the hospital conducts 3,000 free surgeries per year. It was donated by the deputy general manager, Secunderabad Zone, M.K.Bhattacharya.

The deputy general manager, in his address, explained about the active involvement of the bank in upholding the corporate social responsibility of the organisation.
