DGP asks young cops to be vigilant

Director general of police V Dinesh Reddy called upon the trainee deputy superintendent of police (DSPs) and sub inspectors (SIs) to be vigilant in tackling crime on Saturday.

Addressing a gathering at Brahmakumaris auditorium, he said the police should investigate into the case for early detection of crime and help the victims to attain justice. A total of 24,488 crimes such as dowry deaths and rape were recorded  2012.
