Revised rail charges from April 1

The revised reservation fee, supplementary charges for superfast trains, withdrawal of enhanced reservation fee, clerical, cancellation and Tatkal charges  will come into effect on April 1 for tickets issued on and after that date as follows:

Reservation Fees

Second Class:  Rs 15

Sleeper:  Rs 20

AC Chair Car:  Rs 40

AC-3 Economy: Rs 40

AC-3 Tier:  Rs 40

First Class:  Rs 50

AC-2 Tier:  Rs 50

AC First:  Rs 60

Executive:  Rs 60

Suppl Charges

Second Class:  Rs 15

Sleeper:  Rs 30

AC Chair Car:  Rs 45

AC-3 Economy:  Rs 45

AC-3 Tier:  Rs 45

First Class:  Rs 45

AC-2 Tier:  Rs 45

AC First:  Rs 75

Executive:  Rs 75

Clerical charges (for cancellation of RAC, wait-list tickets)

Second Class (Unreserved):  Rs 15

Second (Reserved):  Rs 30

AC Chair Car:  Rs 30

AC-3 Economy:  Rs 30

AC-3 Tier:  Rs 30

First Class:  Rs 30

AC-2 Tier:  Rs 30

AC First:  Rs 30

Executive:  Rs 30

Cancellation Charges (for confirmed tickets)

Second Class: Rs 30

Sleeper:  Rs 60

AC Chair Car:  Rs 90

AC-3 Economy: Rs 90

AC-3 Tier:  Rs 90

First Class:  Rs 100

AC-2 Tier: Rs 100

AC First:  Rs 120

Executive:  Rs 120

Tatkal charges

Second Class: 10 pc of basic fare

Other Classes: 30 pc of basic fare

Second Sitting: Min Rs 10,

Max Rs 15 Sleeper:

Min Rs 90, Max Rs 175

AC Chair Car: Min Rs 100, Max Rs 200

AC-3 Tier: Min Rs 250, Max Rs 350

AC-2 Tier: Min Rs 300, Max Rs 400
