The Central Crime Station police on Friday arrested three persons who allegedly siphoned Rs 22 lakh by opening an account in the name of SRM Foundation by submitting fake documents at a bank here.
The accused had created letterheads of SRM Foundation and opened an account in Bank of Baroda. They deposited two demand drafts worth Rs 22 lakh and withdrew the money later.
