Admissions Open at Tata Institute of Social Sciences

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) invites applications for an admission to integrated BA and MA Social Sciences programme and a BA (Hons) in Social Work programme with specialisation in Rural Development. Candidates will have to appear for the TISS-BAT 2015 entrance test to be held on May 9 between 2 pm - 4 pm across the country for admissions to its Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses.

Students who have cleared or are awaiting results for the Class XII or Intermediate or A level or IB in any subject stream from a recognised board in one attempt are eligible to apply for the programme. Final pass result should be produced at the time of joining the programme. Candidates should be less than 23 years of age as on May 9 to fit the age criteria for the program.

Test centres will be present in Delhi, Dimapur, Guwahati, Kolkata, Silchar, Tiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam,  Bengaluru, Kochi, Bhopal, Jaipur, Mumbai, Patna, Nagpur, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Sholapur  and Vijayawada. The last date to apply is April 7. Hall tickets for entrance exam will be issued (online) on April 21. The final results will be announced on TISS website ( on May 20.
