Tollywood’s leading ladies and celebrated women like Dia Mirza, Lakshmi Manchu, Regina Cassandra, Adah Sharma, Sandhya Raju sizzled in Gurang’s ‘Noor’ collection

HYDERABAD: The designer showcased 15 outfits and sarees from his ‘Noor’ collections. The show was in support of a fund-raiser towards improvement of literacy in government schools for a not-for-profit organisation in south of India.  

Some of the most famous face of filmdom and celebrated woman from different walks of life Lakshmi Manchu, Reginna Cassandra, Adah Sharma, Pranita Subhash, Mehak Murthy, Mithali Raj, Ritu Verma, Sandhya Raju, Sanjana, Savanya Tripathi, Harshvardhan, Samrat and Navdeep.

Dia Mirza walked the ramp as the show stopper in Gaurang’s beautiful hand-woven Paithani Jamdani saree to support the cause. Styling for the show was done by Pallavi Datta an ardent stylist, writer, and promoter of sustainable and eco-friendly fashion.

“It is a privilege for me to have been given an opportunity to be part of an initiative that has so much support from all walks of life to improve the overall literacy standards at the government schools,” says Gaurang and adds, “Through my creation Noor, I want to convince people that early education can do a lot of wonderful things and make a difference in every profession if children acquire literacy to pursue what they love and passionate about.” Gaurang adds. Gaurang fantastically brought alive the Indian culture and heritage in the form embellishments, weaves, embroideries, drapery and textures providing his clothes contemporary edge. The exquisite gold statement pieces jewellery worn by the models added just right glitter to the presentation. The who’s who of the city was present at the fashion show.
