Passport Must for Seamen

HYDERABAD: The Union government has made it compulsory for seamen leaving the country on duty to carry their passports from June 1, the Regional Passport Office here has said. This follows the withdrawal of a provision that has been in force since 1968. All citizens, who are also members of the crew of sailing vessels, have now to obtain passports for their international travel.
