Drive in promises all this to riders and coffee lovers. The city cafe announced the launch of first car, bike, bicycle centric cafe in India at Gachibowli on Wednesday.
It calls itself a self-mobility service provider and is a cafe with rental fleet. The cafe’s interesting interiors remind you of a European country. The founders of the cafe Karrar Taher and Ashwin Jain had a well processed design about the interiors of the cafe and also the menu of the cafe.
“The concept of Drive in has its roots from its home company Noori travels and Hot rides, which has a combined experience of many years. It is a project of passion and love for bikers and travelers. The idea of having a cafe along with the rental fleet came up when we realised that it would be more comfortable for people who would want to have self rides provided with necessary facilities such as a freshly brewed coffee. We want our consumers to experience their dream cars available in self ride and not to pinch their wallets to serve every class of the society”, says Karrar , the co-founder who smells a big opportunity in this format of rental cars.
It propositions itself as a place to go to for backpackers who would love to explore the city all by themselves and those who love to experience the feel of different car and bike rides.
The boot strapped company has 150 cars , 50 motorcycles and 7 bicycles. The wheels range from the mini Nano to the outrageous Porsche 911. The place is a feast for all the bikers ranging from the Britain made Royal Enfield to the Italian made Ducati . It takes you back to your childhood with its authentic and advanced bicycles which includes Surly Moonlander and Cannondales which absolutely thrilling.
The garage-themed cafe has an array of beverages from the Assami Chai to the Pakistani Ice Tea that you wish for to end or begin self ride with. Most of the times on the menu is above 150 rupess and has all the national and international varieties of coffee, tea and Sandwich.
“The wheels are continously updated when newer variants are introduced by manufacturers across the entire range of fleet with “best in class” across the brands”, Ashwin, the co-founder.
Drive in is aspiring to indulge in 14 new cities in two phases. It will soon launch in cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Udaipur, Kolkata and a few more cities. Of coffee, cars and a long drive in one concept, as it sounds.
