HYDERABAD: Hyderabad has emerged as the most affordable metro for both buying or renting a home, according to ‘Buy Vs Rent’ Report prepared by ArthaYantra, a robo-advisory financial management company.
ArthaYantra has been coming up with the report annually for the past five years and this year it conducted a study on real estate and home sector in 12 cities including Kochi, Indore, besides two metros.
“Hyderabad is second only to Indore in case of affordability with both home prices and rents being affordable. Other metros like Mumbai, New Delhi are expensive when compared to Hyderabad,” said Nitin B Vyakaranam, CEO of AthaYantra.

Those with an annual income of `8 lakh can afford buying a residential property in Hyderabad while in other cities one needs to have an annual income of at least `16 lakh.
