NGO demands sanitisation of ATMs in Hyderabad

Pointing out that the possibility for diseases to spread if hygiene is not maintained at banks and ATM facilities in the city, an NGO demanded action.

HYDERABAD: Pointing out that there is possibility for viral and bacterial diseases to spread if hygiene is not maintained at all banks and ATM facilities in the city, Mujtaba Hasan Askari, president of Helping Hands foundation - an NGO, requested director of Public Health and Family Welfare to take action. Serpentine queues have been observed at ATMs for more than 25-days.

He appealed that sanitisers should be provided at ATMs and banks, surgical mask at all branches of the banks for people affected with cold, cough, influenza and other precautions.
