WeVoo promises to turn your ordinary chats into effective face-to-face and real time action
Wooing You to Stream Your Story

While typing, editing, correcting and then posting chats are tedious, sharing properly scripted and edited videos are so 2015. And this is where mobile video streaming apps come into the picture. Welcome the new year with a new mobile app, WeVoo that can turn your ordinary chats into effective face-to-face and real time action.

But with apps like Periscope, Meerkat, Twitch.tv, Facebook and Snapchat (even though its not-so-live), incorporating  live video streaming, they are not as user-friendly or private as some of us would like.

WeVoo promises to bridge this gap. Brain child of Harry Sangha, who realised that even though he had multiple digital cameras and camcorders he was still just using his smartphone all the time for video recording precious moments and sharing them with contacts and after few recordings he would have get annoying ‘storage full’ message on his phone which made him lose out on recording precious moments.

This is when Sangha along with friends Deepak Khanduri and Krishna Kumar then brainstormed and after seven months of research and world, WeVoo was delivered on December 1 last year for Android and a couple of days ago for iOS users.

Krishna Kumar says the app is in tune with the pulse of daily communications needs of everyday people.

“WeVoo is the next generation communications app. We can no longer accept simple typed messages, photos or audio messages when it comes to viewing any important moments, small or big, in our lives. We want to experience in real time the wedding of a friend or relative, or the first steps of our children or the first word she or he spoke. We want to see our children perform on stage in school or watch mom cooking from across the globe, not through dry images or video snap shots but through live streaming in real time. WEVOO offers this and much more,” he explains.

What also makes this app worthy of occupying your smartphone’s memory is that it stores all videos on cloud.

From security view also the app is dependable as every user is registered on the app through their mobile number. Further, it also has the option of broadcasting videos to all your followers or to just those who you want to. “Wevoo makes the world become smaller, closer, honest and more communicative,” adds Kumar.

The down

n Mobile video streaming apps made a foray since 2014 and today app stores are filled with them. While bigger players like Facbook, Twitter, Amazon, Snapchat and several others have already captured a sizeable proportion of the market, it could get difficult for startups like WeVoo to sustain themselves.
