Compete with Yourself: You Versus You

HYDERABAD: The size of our universe shrinks dramatically when we place ourselves at the centre – when we think everyone is our competition. Such a goal just keeps a person alienated and tirelessly running and there is no end to it.

Now, take someone who doesn’t keep a score, who’s not looking to be richer, smarter, more attractive, who has not the slightest interest in being better than anyone else: they are free.

Compete with yourself only. There is not a single soul in this or any other dimension that doesn’t understand the language of love. Only the choice of acknowledgement creates the difference. This is the healthiest form of competition you can indulge in. By choosing not to complain about our problems we send a message to the universe that we expect them to be resolved. With expectation comes manifestation, so by demonstrating to the universe that we expect our problems to be insignificant and easy to resolve, they will become so.

For reality to manifest the way we want it to, we must tell our story the way we want it to be. If what you are saying, isn’t the way you want things to be, you can choose to stop talking about it. Stick to telling people about the good stuff. When you tell a better story you’ll have a better life. Your story is a proof of your perseverance, your strength and your endurance!

Never be ashamed to tell your story. You never know how many could get inspired, understand that if you could survive why not them? Share your story from the space of inspiration and not seeking sympathy, from a space of contribution and not agony, from a space of power and not weakness.
