HYDERABAD: The ‘Kaun Banega Corporator’ (KBC) website, launched to create awareness about GHMC polls is getting good response from citizens.
According to the United Federation of Resident Welfare Associations (UFERWAS), more than 5,000 people have visited the website, www.kaunbanegacorporator.com, in the first three days of its launch.
The website is being maintained by UFERWAS and students of Aurora Degree College. It is taking the rating of wards being given by people. The results of ratings are available online and the exercise of giving rating will go on till Jan 19.
“While most of the wards have been rated till now, many visitors have mailed about the problems they are facing in their wards. The final report on the problems each ward is facing and the performance of former corporators will be released on Jan 19,” said BT Srinivasan, general secretary of UFERWAS.
Of the 150 wards, Begumpet, Mehdipatnam, Panjagutta and some others saw good participation from visitors while Vidyanagar, Shivrampally, Moghalpura and Aghapura are still awaiting participation by people.
While rating is being conducted for wards existing before delimitation, after withdrawal of nominations, details of new wards and contestants will be uploaded.
