Skoch Awards for KTR, Venkaiah

IT minister KT Rama Rao has been selected for the Skoch Award in the Startup India category.

HYDERABAD: IT minister KT Rama Rao has been selected for the Skoch Award in the Startup India category for his initiative in establishing the path breaking tech incubator T-Hub.

‘’The Skoch Challenger of the year Award’’ will be conferred on KTR on March 19 in New Delhi,’’ a release by the Skoch Group said.

Instituted in 2003, Skoch Challenger Awards - the highest independently instituted civilian honours - have been conferred on some of the best brains from across the country for their efforts in the area of digital, financial and social inclusion.

The committee took note of KTR’s efforts over the last 20 months in governance and building world-class startup ecosystem in TS.

Meanwhile, Union urban Development minister M Venkaiah Naidu has been selected for the Skoch Lifetime Achievement Award.
