HYDERABAD: A deputy superintendent of police (DSP) rank officer of the Intelligence Security Wing (ISW) which monitors the chief minister’s security was transferred on Saturday and asked to report to Director General of Police (DGP’s) office immediately.

The officer, who has been on the CM’s security team for more than five years now, was not given any new assignment following some allegations against him coming to light.  Speculations are rife that ISW officials have allegedly received a complaint from a woman stating that she was harassed by G Vidya Sagar, DSP of ISW.

Following the allegations, the higher officials have taken a decision to transfer the officer from the chief minister’s security. Orders were issued on Saturday asking Vidya Sagar to report to the DGP office immediately.
