HYDERABAD: A process developer from a multi-national company (MNC) was arrested by Madhapur police on charges of abetment of suicide, extortion and cheating of 32-year-old telecaller K Sunitha, who set herself ablaze, allegdly after being rejected by accused.
P Sravan Kumar (30), has been working in the MNC at Gachibowli, since 2011. He had met Sunitha when they were both working in Just Dial in 2010.
Madhapur ACP Ramana Kumar said that Sravan and Sunitha had been in a sexual relationship and he also took `1 lakh from her. When she asked him to marry her, he demanded more money. Earlier, he had cheated five other women, by making false promises of marrying them and taking money from them also.
