The show is set to attract over 8,000 potential trade and industrial visitors from India and abroad. It will showcase cleaning solutions for a gamut of industries, including manufacturing, engineering, pharma, automobile, textile, IT and other industries, besides hotels, hospitals, malls, education institutions and commercial and institutional spaces.

Exhibitors from across 20 countries are showcasing new technologies, products and systems applicable in almost all sectors.

“Innovative solutions are the way forward for maintaining the city clean, said Dr B. Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Citing examples he said, Hyderabad had only 508 public toilets and over night we could add 216 toilets by persuading petrol bunks to permit usage of their toilets by general public.

Also the city will have 100 e-toilets shortly, we could manage sponsors for these e-toilets, also we have entrusted the management of these e-toilets to the manufacturers for the next three years for their smooth operation.”

The GHMC will launch an innovative campaign “Unite the family, divide the waste” from January 26, he added. The campaign, he hopes, will help the city rise in its rankings in the world cleanliness list.
