HYDERABAD: Meet the man who recited the Indian Constitution in 25 minutes and holds the Limca Book of records for doing it in the shortest time in the country. He performed the feat at the Telugu book of records las July in a span of 25 minutes.

Ramesh Pittla Mudiraj, a 31-year old who hails from Marriguda, Nalgonda district in Telangana, has memorised the Indian constitution –  is the longest constitution in the world with 448 articles, 12 schedules, 5 appendices and 100 amendments. It took him three months to memorise the constitution as he practices and reads it as preparation for civil service examinations.

It may sound like an odd feat, but he has been also awarded the Telugu Book of Records in Hyderabad. He is currently using his constitutional knowledge by educating young students for free in government schools and is currently preparing for civil services examinations to conduct his social service on a larger and more accomplished scale. 

This came about as he prepares and is still preparing for civil services examinations. He mentions that the Constitution is an important part of the curricula for civil services. 

Not just memorising it, he acts his part of a dutiful and responsible citizen by giving free communication skills, English and computer classes to the students in government schools as he thinks it is a challenge for the youth to get jobs in BPOs, IT sector.

He also conducts classes for women along with some of his friends aside from his work as a quality analyst in a MNC company.

Sharing the knowledge he has acquired drives him to continue working for the society. 

“I may not have wealth but I want to share the knowledge that I have so that it will increase over time” he says as he expresses his zeal to continue his social services.
