HYDERABAD: The IPL for Startups, Startup Cricket League (SCL) Season 3 is back with bang. The Season 3 of Startup Cricket League(SCL) Launched here in city at T-Hub at Gachibowli on Saturday.
Pragyan Ojha, Indian International Cricketer formally unveiled the new logo and launched its structure and schedule. The SCL season 3 is going to be three months long event comprises of its launch, startups registration, auditions, team bonding, launch of each of the six teams, trophy tour which will be followed by main flagship event, the league.
The season 3 of SCL evolved with all the learnings of previous years. SCL--3, which is widely known in the startup ecosystem as the IPL for Startups, is now back to forge more valuable bonding between the people. It is divided into 6 teams formed upon the generic sectors or industries and the teams are: Business 2 Business - Business Blazers; Ecommerce - Ecom Titans; Future Tech - Front Foot Techies; Fintech - Finance Fighters; Lifestyle - Lifestyle Leopards; Travel / Logistics - Travel Thunders. Each team consists of two investors, two mentors, one co-working space and one community who are called thought leaders to guide the eight startup founders in the team from the same sector.
SCL team logos and names will be launched by different startups subsequently. SCL is the property built on belief that the "the family that plays together is the family stays together." SCL today is the brand to reckon in entire startup ecosystem in India, declared Saikiran Gunda, founder of SCL. Startup Cricket League is the ideal networking platform for startups who can unwind and strike deals while playing the cricket.
There is a lot of science goes behind SCL says Sai Kiran and adds, sports is one of the conversation starters professionals use to break the ice. SCL platform helps bring startup founders and other members of the startup ecosystem and so it is worthwhile for business people to unwind sometimes with co-workers or friends in spare time to work up their skills.
SCL is a built in stress buster of startup ecosystem in Hyderabad. It all started when Memilog, a Hyderabad based startup turned a year old in May 2015 celebrated its birthday by inviting some known startups. It was an instant hit, which led Startup Cricket League, Hyderabad.
