Drug racket: 6, including two foreigners, held

A total of 300 grams of cocaine, 42 grams of MDMA(ecstasy), 5 LSD stamps/biscuits and 11 LSA drug seeds were seized.

HYDERABAD: Joining the State Excise and Prohibition department in crackdown against drug abuse, Hyderabad police on Wednesday arrested six persons including a South African and a Nigerian national from outside a hotel atBanjara Hills. A total of 300 grams of cocaine, 42 gms MDMA(ecstacy), 5 LSD stamps/biscuits and 11 LSA drug seeds were seized from them.

The arrested persons are Chika Ohycowusi alias Jack, a resident of Saligao, Goa, and a native of Nigeria, Lucky Bongani, a student in Delhi and native of Pretoria in South Africa, N Raghu Vamshidar Reddy, a private employee from Kukatpally, Abhinav Mahender, a business man, V Mallikarjun Rao, an unemployed youth, and Christopher HH Giddens, a real estate businessman from Bengaluru.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Task Force, B Limba Reddy said that accused N Raghu Vamshidar Reddy was arrested in 2015 in a ganja case. 

“He in contact with Christopher HH Giddens during a visit to Gokarna in Karnataka was introduced to people who sell LSD stamps, charas, LSA drug seeds etc. Following this, he hatched a plan to sell drugs in Hyderabad. He used to purchase LSD stamps for Rs 1,000 and sell the same in Hyderabad for Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000,” said the DCP. In the meantime, he came in contact with accused Abhinav Mahender and V Mallikarjun Rao, both of whom procured MDMA, LSD stamps and cocaine from anonymous darknet websites. Raghu used to buy a gram of MDMA for Rs 4,000 from them and sell to others Rs 5,000.
