HYDERABAD: Dejected over failure in love, a man allegedly committed suicide by sealing his face with a polythene cover and inhaling exhaust gas inside his locked car at Malaysia township in KPHB limits. Though the death is learnt to have happened on Wednesday, it came to light only after residents of township noticed pungent smell emanating from the car.
KPHB inspector Ch Kushalkar said, “The man identified as Nittala Avinash alias Dinesh of Nellore in AP had wrapped a black polythene cover to his head after and reportedly turned on the valve to inhale exhaust gas.” Avinash, a resident of Dharmareddy Colony in Hydernager went out three days ago in the car registered on his father’s name.
The police said a note reportedly written by Avinash read that he was depressed after failing in love and troubling the woman he loved. “I did not do anything intentionally, but it happened. Severe financial problems have also forced me to resort to this extreme step. I am sorry for troubling you all... am leaving this world,” the man reportedly said in the suicide note.
