She has extensive experience in corporate law, legal due diligence and financial engineering. “When I partnered with Raghu Babu, to start R&A as a Company Secretaries firm, in 90s, the times were challenging. Being a woman professional to fight through the gender disparity in the business world was not an easy task. But globalisation has created the much needed awareness for regulatory compliance in Indian economy. Today I am honoured to mention that it has steadily grown in stature and matured into a family of over 60 committed professionals spread out its branches in major cities of India” she adds. R&A’s scope of work encompasses audit & assurance, regulatory approvals and representation, corporate governance, transaction documents and so on.
