HYDERABAD: Two outsourcing employees were dismissed from services on Friday by GHMC commissioner, B Janardhan Reddy for illegal mutation (change of name) of a property.
The outsourcing operators who were removed from the service include Battala Polaiah and M Lakhan Singh. Further, as per the instructions of the commissioner, GHMC registered cases against the two along with the other conspirator K Koteshwara Rao at Banjara Hills police station last evening.
The illegal change of name came to light based on a complaint received by deputy commissioner on February 10 and another complaint addressed to the commissioner on February 13 from Dongari Rama Bai of Road No. 11, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
In the said complaints, it is stated that D Rama Bai purchased the property H.No.8-2-609/17/M, Gourishanker Colony, Road No.11, Banjara Hills from one K Koteshwara Rao through Reg.Doc. No.2893/2015, dated June 22, 2015, Sub-Registrar Office, Hyderabad and got the said property mutated in her name in the Municipal Records on July 30 of deputy commissioner, GHMC Circle-10.
She paid the property tax till March 31, 2017 and when she went to pay advance tax, she found that her name as owner of the property was replaced with the name K Koteshwara Rao, Sriramnagar, Road No.12, Banjara Hills illegally and sought GHMC to take necessary action.
After receiving the complaint, verification was made in office records and found that the contents mentioned in the complaints are found true and observed that the owner name of the property in Gourishanker Colony, Banjara Hills was changed from D Rama Bai to K Koteshwara Rao online illegally and no background documents were found in municipal records for effecting the change.
No authorised official has signed on any records. Deputy commissioner addressed a letter to project manager, CGG for investigation as how and from which IP address the name was changed. The project manager, CGG has furnished a report on February 20 giving the details of IP address from where the change of name was done illegally.
