HYDERABAD: The fourth day of ‘Agaaz-e-Baatcheet’ program - a call to ‘initiate a conversation’ on Interfaith; organised by Rubaroo and  supported by the British Deputy High Commission, saw two stand up  artists Hriday Ranjan and Sandesh Johnny tickling the funny bone of the audience on Thursday at Phoenix Arena, Hitech City.Agaaz-e-Baatcheet a weeklong Interfaith event which will be on till November 19 celebrates religious diversity through community cohesion. It is a secular platform for young people to interpret and reflect deeply upon the underlying message of different religions and religious

identities, finding and celebrating the commonalities between them.

Interfaith and Comedy don’t seem to have a meeting ground, but these two Standup artists crack it up on the theme of Interfaith and what it means for Hyderabadi’s to be so diverse and yet so similar. The artist Sandesh is a frustrated software employee by day and a stand-up comedian by night, he is like the Dark Knight of the funny world with dark being his style of comedy.

One of Hyderabad’s best upcoming comics, Sandesh Johnny grew up in a strict Christian background, and he took revenge by joking about it. Hriday Ranjan is a very popular and professional Stand Up Comedian from Hyderabad. Rubaroo selected 125 Youth Champions, between the age group of 18-25

years, who in turn are organising Agaaz-e-Baatcheet. These youth champions from diverse socio economic, religious and gender backgrounds across Hyderabad, who also include Hriday and Sandesh.
