Three youngsters killed in bike accident in Hyderabad

Three youngsters, including two engineering students, were killed when the bike they were travelling rammed a road divider at Pet Basheerabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD: Three youngsters, including two engineering students, were killed when the bike they were travelling rammed a road divider at Pet Basheerabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad in the wee hours of Friday.

According to Pet Basheerabad inspector S Ravi Chandra, the trio identified as Anil Kumar (22), Ratan Angie (22), an engineering third-year student and Amanraj (22), an engineering graduate, all residents of Armoor mandal were travelling on the same bike towards Bowenpally route post 1 am on Friday.
 
According to the inspector, rash and negligent driving are presumed to be the cause of the accident.
 
As a result, the trio flung into the air fell on road suffering critical head injuries, he said.
 
"On receiving information, a team rushed to the spot to only see two persons lying in a pool of blood. Another injured person was rushed to a nearby private hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead," said the inspector.
 
Bodies of the trio have been shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem and their respective families have been informed about the incident. A case has been registered into for probe, said inspector Ravi Chandra.
