HYDERABAD: Taking a serious view at construction of a five floor building at Anjaiah Nagar in Gachibowli area of the city without permission from GHMC, Justice P Naveen Rao directed errant building owner Syed Mohiuddin Ali Khan to appear before High Court on Dec 18.

The judge was dealing with a contempt case filed by the GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy seeking action against Syed, a businessman from Tolichowki area, for flouting norms of GHMC Act by raising a five storied building without permission at Gachibowli and for threatening the corporation officials.

After hearing the submissions of the GHMC counsel, the judge expressed his anger at the respondent builder for violating the norms and the orders of the Court and initiated contempt proceedings against him. While adjourning the case, the judge directed him to appear before the court on Dec 18.
