Padayatra: Jagan seeks six-month court breather

HYDERABAD: YSRC chief and Opposition Leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday filed a petition in the CBI special court here seeking exemption from appearing before the court every Friday in connection with the disproportionate assets case, for a period of six months.

The YSRC chief said that he was seeking an exemption for six months since he had planned to go on a padayatra of the entire State from November 2 to learn the problems of the people first hand. 
He contended that as a public representative, it is his duty to be in the midst of the people and understand their problems they are facing, he contended. After perusing the petition, the special court posted the matter to October 13 for hearing.
