HYDERABAD:  In a bid to motivate and inspire students,  EFLU has come up with a unique programme in which students can interact with celebrities and eminent persons in an informal setting . Called the  ‘Meet a Leading Light’ or MALL, the programme’s first session saw  Dr B Prasada Rao, former DGP of AP, interact with 30 students from BA programme.  Conceived by  the vice-chancellor, Prof E Suresh Kumar, the programme aims to  impact the lives of youngsters.

“Students don’t get the opportunity to meet VIPs. And if they do, it’s from a distance. There is no  personal interaction. We have done away with the  dais and the interaction is entirely informal. Students sit with the person, listen to his/her stories, talk about their problems and dreams, followed by lunch. The interaction winds up with a photo  shoot with each student,” he said.  EFLU plans to conduct eight such sessions.
