HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) commissioner T Chiranjeevulu on Saturday warned Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) staff of stringent action including terminating of services if they fail to solve the pending applications by September 27.In the light of reported allegations on LRS issue, he held a review meeting on pending LRS applications at HMDA office on Saturday and stated that retired deputy tahsildars who were taken on an outsourcing basis have been removed and an enforcement official was repatriated to his parent department.


During the meeting, Chiranjeevulu displayed the files pending with the LRS staff. Applicants should be told to pay the LRS fee for regularisation of the plots within 30 days, failing which their application should be rejected, he added.
