Senior journo Suresh Krishnamoorthy dies

 Senior journalist Suresh Krishnamoorthy, working as Senior Assistant Editor (Reporting) with The Hindu in Hyderabad, passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 52.

HYDERABAD: Senior journalist Suresh Krishnamoorthy, working as Senior Assistant Editor (Reporting) with The Hindu in Hyderabad, passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 52.
Krishnamoorthy, who has completed 25 years with the newspaper, collapsed in his flat on Saturday morning and was rushed to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences where doctors declared him ‘brought dead’. He was to be awarded for his service on September 20 in Chennai.


His body is being preserved at the NIMS morgue till arrival of his parents and brother from the US who are expected to reach Hyderabad by Sunday. His last rites will be performed after their arrival.
