HYDERABAD:To showcase the talent of its student community, Badruka College Post Graduate Centre, Kachiguda, kickstarted its two-day annual fest ‘Splash 2k18’ on its premises on Tuesday. The event features a host of formal and informal events such as Business and Finance quizzes, selfie contest, treasure hunt, fashion show, flash mob, RJ Hunt, Rice Bucket Challenge, etc.

Hyderabad Management Association V-P Ravi Kumar Peesapati was the chief guest of the event. SBI Assistant General Manager (SME) SV Saravanan called upon students to inculcate a sense of entrepreneurship and shared information on how banks willingly give loans for programmes such as Stand-Up India, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, etc.

The event saw several hundred students from various colleges participating enthusiastically in various competitions. Strutting their stuff on the ramp, 21 boys and girls in ethnic wear captured the audiences’ attention for a full sixty minutes at the fashion show. Later, a flash mob and RJ hunt was conducted.
The final rounds of all the competitions along with a prize distribution event will be held today. Manju Latha Kalanidhi, Founder of Rice Bucket Challenge and TNIE Hyderabad City Editor will talk to students about her social media journey.
