Hyderabadis chill as temperature remains 40 degree Celsius below normal

As per the India Meteorological Department(IMD), the maximum temperature recorded in Hyderabad was 34.5 degree Celsius, that is 3 degree Celsius below normal.

HYDERABAD: Temperatures continued to remain below normal in the city on Monday. As per the India Meteorological Department(IMD), the maximum temperature recorded in Hyderabad was 34.5 degree Celsius, that is 3 degree Celsius below normal. There was no forecast of thunderstorm for any part of the state for Tuesday.

As per the Telangana State Development Planning Society’s (TSDPS) automatic weather stations located at several parts of Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was recorded between 34 and 36 degree Celsius in most parts of the city including Kapra, Saroornagar, Kapra, Moula Ali, Balanagar, Rajendranagar, Kukatpally, Malkajgiri, Alweal, Marredpally, Himayatnagar, Amberpet, Holkonda and Shaikpet.
The highest temperature was recorded on Monday at 37.8 degree Celsius in Ameerpet.

Meanwhile, the IMD data showed that maximum temperatures were below normal across all parts of the state.The minimum temperatures were also recorded below normal in the city. In Hyderabad it was recorded at 20 degree Celsius, 4 degree Celsius below normal.

IMD forecast predict light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places in Telangana. As per the TSDPS prediction, the maximum temperatures are expected to be 2-4 degree Celsius below normal at many places over the state, and it would continue to be so for the next couple of days.In the districts, Nalgonda’s maximum temperature was recorded at 33 degree Celsius, 5.7 degree Celsius below normal.
