Man held in Hyderabad for 'abusive' post on Telugu TV channel

HYDERABAD: The Banjara Hills police on Wednesday detained a person for allegedly posting abusive, false and forged content on Facebook against a Telugu TV management in connection with aspiring actress Sri Reddy’s ongoing controversial episode. No case has been registered yet. The police said that they would refer the case to cyber crime police.

According to police, one Siva Kumar Reddy, professionally a photographer, had posted some pictures in which false and fabricated content was created by unknown persons and shared. Police said that after Sri Reddy made sensational comments on Tollywood, some videos, pictures went viral on Facebook. A complaint was lodged by vernacular TV channel about fake content abusing higher ups of TV channels in connection with Sri Reddy episode.
