Fire at pharma company in Hyderabad's Jeedimetla industrial area, six injured

The officials said two among six victims are critically injured and the other workers with help of locals have been rushed them to the hospital for treatment.

HYDERABAD: A major fire broke out at Seutic Pharma Private Limited in Jeedimetla industrial area located on the outskirts of Hyderabad during early hours on Friday. Six workers suffered burn injuries and two of them are in critical condition. The injured have been rushed to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad for treatment, said police.

According to the police, the fire broke out in the pharma company at around 6.30 am, when a group of workers was on duty. The fires spread rapidly in the premises leaving six workers injured.

The officials said two among six victims are critically injured and the other workers with help of locals have been rushed them to the hospital for treatment.

Around eight tenders from the nearest stations been pressed into action to douse off the blazes from spreading to the neighbouring companies, said the police.
