Hyderabad: Policeman’s wife kills self due to health complications

HYDERABAD: Wife of an inspector posted with the Central Crime station of Hyderabad committed suicide at her residence at Malkajgiri on Monday. She was reportedly depressed over her health issues. T Saritha (40), wife of inspector TS Umamaheswara Rao, allegedly hanged herself at her home.

Based on a complaint from her father Satish Babu, a case has been booked and a probe is on, said police. Umamaheswara Rao, along with wife Saritha and daughter Akshitha Naidu, were residing in a rented house at Moula ali, while their son is studying in a residential college.

For the past six years, Saritha had been suffering with Cervical cancer and she had undergone a surgery in 2015. But she could not recover from the complications.
