HYDERABAD: Cyberabad police arrested six members belonging to two separate notorious interstate house burglary gangs and detected 35 cases and recovered property worth around 46,76,000 was recovered from their possession.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said one of the accused G Rambabu was already convicted and came out of prison recently and started committing offences again. He was arrested on various occasions and was even detained under PD act, in 2016. After coming out of prison in April 2018, he committed nine offences.

“Though he belonged to AP, he had a clear idea of the city as he had committed offences in 2012 and 2014 in different parts of the city,” said Sajjanar. The other two K Mallikarjun and K Anoop Kumar were arrested in the past. Mallikarjun was arrested in 16 cases and was detained under PD act also.

After his released, he helped his friend Naresh, who is in prison to come out on bail and both of them committed offences in five places in the city. Mallikarjun’s associate Anoop was also arrested and detained under PD act.

In the other case, B Vishanath Jadav, S Maruthi Pawar and P Ankush, all belonging to Hingoli district in Maharashtra were involved in offences since 2013. They would come to the city in trains and target only outskirt areas, as it was easy for them to escape after an offence.
