The Administrative Staff Called of India, or the Bellavista campus turned into a veritable picnic spot on Sunday and with a reason.
Heritage glory, right in the heart of the city

HYDERABAD: Bella Vista, the headquarters of the Administrative Staff College of India, Somajuguda, conducted a heritage walk in the campus on Sunday. Hosted by Arvind Acharya, a noted researcher of history and a management consultant in New York, the walk attracted intellectuals, historians, artists and educators including students, despite it being Sunday morning.

Prior to the walk, Arvind gave a presentation showcasing the photographs of Princess Niloufer, one of the last princess of the Ottoman Empire who was married to the second son of the last Nizam, simultaneously telling the story of their life and some notable facts. Some visitors sketched the structure of Bella Vista too. Soon after the presentation, the session all the members were taken to the heritage walk along the gardens of Bella Vista to their clubs and the closed tunnel. In the end, Arvind gave an informal vote of thanks and ended the ceremony with a group photograph.
