HYDERABAD: In a bid to make the railways safer, South Central Railway officials were instructed to analyse recurring problems and find out best possible solutions to avoid failures in train operations and to maintain enhanced safety standards with the punctuality of trains.

SCR General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav held a review meeting with Principal Heads of Departments on Tuesday at SCR Headquarters Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.

Addressing the meeting, he stressed upon the need to conduct a detailed case study of each problem of the failures to find the best solution.

He reviewed the progress of track maintenance works over the Zone and instructed the officials to maintain the punctuality standards. He also reviewed the steps being taken by divisions for cleanliness and to ensure improvements and effective mechanism for cleanliness round the clock. He instructed the DRMs to take precautionary measures during the monsoon season.
