Hyderabad: Women end life in three separate cases

A 26-year-old electrician who was accused of raping a 12-year-old girl was arrested by Dundigal police on Monday.

HYDERABAD:A 26-year-old electrician who was accused of raping a 12-year-old girl was arrested by Dundigal police on Monday. The girl, who was in distress after she was raped, killed herself as she feared sharing the trauma with her mother. The girl’s mother who found the victim dead also noticed blood stains under her feet had raised suspicion leading to the arrest of the accused. According to Dundigal police, on May 9, a woman, working as a helper at a private hospital in Nizampet, found her daughter hanging from the ceiling fan in their house in Bowrampet village. A case has been registered against the accused.

Missing old woman found hanging from tree

A septuagenarian woman, who left her house on Sunday morning, was found hanging from a tree at Bachupally on Monday. The woman’s son had lodged a missing complaint with the Kukatpally police. The woman has been identified as R Subhadramma, a resident of Jayanagar Colony. A case of suspicious death has been registered.

Woman IT employee commits suicide

A woman committed suicide at her house in Miyapur late Sunday night. She was working for an MNC in Pune. Keerthana, 31, a native of Warangal district, hanged herself from the ceiling. Police said Keerthana married B Sreedhar about 10 years ago and the couple has a four-year-old son. A case of suspicious death has been filed. The body was handed over to the parents.
