HYDERABAD: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, who are investigating alleged irregularities by Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) in issuing priority letters to candidates to get medical seats under sports quota, received a fresh complaint on Wednesday regarding misuse of powers in issuing recommendation letters under NCC quota.
The agency officials, who received a complaint from a practising advocate, are examining the details. After verification, the agency is likely to register fresh cases. Earlier, the agency registered cases against Venkata Ramana, deputy director of sports authority, for accepting bribe to issue priority letters to candidates that would help them to get medical seats under sports quota.
