HYDERABAD: For years now, the judiciary has been working behind closed doors and it is essential for legal services authorities to join hands with other stakeholders for effective implementation of laws and speedy justice, said Justice V Rama Subramanian, executive chairman of TS Legal Services Authority. 

He was speaking at state level consultation with police department and legal services authorities about existing police mechanisms with regard to anti-trafficking. Also speaking, inspector general of police, (Women Safety), TS, SwatiLakra said: “In last four years, over 200 trafficked victims have been rescued by police and around 117 cases have been registered.
