To prevent voters from video recording the voting process in election booths, voters will not be allowed mobile phones inside the booths. The same instruction will be printed at the back of photo voters slip which will be distributed to them soon, Ranga Reddy district collector B Sreedhar said at a press conference here on Wednesday.

‘’We are not going to frisk, but we appeal people not to indulge in such activities. If anybody is caught recording the process, action will be taken against them according to the Election Commission norms,’’ he said.

For the convenience of the voters to locate the polling booths, all the details will be printed on the voters slips. ‘’Details like name and photo of the voter, address of the polling booth, serial number will be printed on the slip. With this voters will not find it a problem to find designated polling booth,’’ he said.
