A statue of legendary Telugu film star and former chief minister  of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, popularly known as NTR, will be installed in the Parliament Complex.

The late minister’s daughter and Union minister Daggubati Purandeswari said on Friday that a larger-than-life statue of her father would be unveiled at the Parliament by Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar on May 7.

The statue issue created a rift between Purandeswari and her brother-in-law and TDP chief N Chandrabubu Naidu.
