Jet Airways to launch Kochi-Abu Dhabi flight

The Cochin International Airport Ltd announced in a notification on Saturday that Jet Airways will start operations in a new sector, from Abu Dhabi to Kochi via Kuwait, from May 16. The flight, operated daily with a Boeing 737 aircraft, will start from Abu Dhabi and arrive in Kochi via Kuwait at 8.10 am.

The flight will return to Abu Dhabi via Kuwait at 5.55 pm. According to CIAL authorities, with the introduction of the Jet Airways service, the number of weekly flights to Kuwait from Kochi will rise to 17 from the present 10 flights. Air India and Kuwait Airways are the two airlines which operate in the Kochi- Kuwait sector.
