CMFRI Honoured by President for Excellence in Work

KOCHI: President Pranab Mukherjee conferred the prestigious National Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Puraskar (2013) on the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Kochi for excellent work and commendable achievements in implementation of the official language. The Institute bagged the 3rd prize among all the Central Government organisations. A Gopalakrishnan, director, received the prize on behalf of CMFRI. Rajbhasha Awards are given by Ministry of Home Affairs on Hindi Divas, September 14. This is the third time CMFRI has been conferred the prestigious award in the past four years.
