Massive Polling in Municipalities

 ANGAMALY/ELOOR/KALAMASSERY:Voter turnout in Angamaly municipality was the second highest in the district - 84.56 per cent, followed by Muvattupuzha, where 5.99 per cent voters cast vote on Thursday. Polling was peaceful in Angamaly, with the highest polling recorded in ward-20 (89 per cent) and the lowest at the JBS Booth in Angamaly town (81.4 per cent).

 Eloor municipality recorded 83.08 per cent polling on Thursday.  At 89.01 per cent, the highest voter turnout was recorded at Pallippuramchal (ward-31), while Pathelakkadu recorded the lowest polling of 70.4 per cent.  The turnout in Kalamassery municipality was 79.96 per cent on Thursday. Polling was peaceful in the municipality, where no untoward incidents were reported.
