Ad Guru Honoured

KOCHI:  Bank of Baroda, at its annual ‘Rajbhasha function’ held at Corporate Office conferred Maharaja Sayajirao Bhasha Samman on renowned poet, lyricist and advertising guru Prasoon Joshi for his “outstanding contribution in promoting and propagating Hindi in public at large”.

The award has been instituted in the memory of bank’s founder Maharaja Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad-III. Joshi was presented a cheque of `1.01 lakh and a memento.

The bank’s MD and CEO P S Jayakumar presided over the function. Executive director B B Joshi, general manager (i/c-Rajbhasha)  Ravi Kumar Arora, senior executives and a large number of staff members were present on the occasion.
