KOCHI: At least six persons were injured when Aam Aadmi Party(AAP)youth wing activists clashed with the Students Federation of India (SFI) members at the Maharaja’s College on Wednesday.

“The stand-off began after the SFI activists opposed the distribution of notices outside the campus inviting students to join the AAP youth wing. Six activists--three each   belonging to the SFI and the AAP-- were admitted to the General Hospital and a case has been registered in this  connection,” police said.

Meanwhile, the AAP which condemned the incident demanded stringent action against the SFI activists.  Members of the SFI, however, said they are opposed to political campaigns on campus.
